Introduction #
Your app’s Homepage is the first screen users see after logging in. Make it functional, branded, and engaging. With the Learndash App, you can build a custom Homepage using Gutenberg blocks and assign it directly to the Tab Bar for quick access.
This guide walks you through creating an App Page, adding blocks, assigning it to the Tab Bar, and previewing it on your mobile app.
Accessing the App Pages Screen #
- In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Learndash App > App Pages.
- Click Add New App Page to begin creating a new App Page.
Creating a New App Page #
- At the top of the editor, enter a Title such as Home.
- Click the + icon to insert Gutenberg blocks into the page.
Adding Blocks to Your Homepage

- Click +, search for Quick Link.
- Add the Quick Link block for linking to internal or external pages.
- To add another link, click the block’s + icon.
- In Icon Settings, choose an icon (e.g., Facebook) and click Select Icon.

Integrating Your Homepage into the Tab Bar #
- Go to Learndash App > Menus > Tab Bar Menu.
- Click App Page, then scroll or click View All to find your new Home page.
- Select Home and click Add to Menu.
- In the menu list, click the dropdown arrow beside Home.
- Click Item Icon, choose a Home icon, adjust icon settings, then click Select Icon.
- Click Save Menu to apply your changes.
Previewing Your Homepage #
- Force-close and reopen the Learndash App on your mobile device.
- Tap the Home tab in the Tab Bar.
- Confirm your Members, Quick Links, and Activity blocks appear and function as expected.
Troubleshooting and FAQs #
Q: My new Home tab isn’t appearing.
A: Confirm you clicked Save Menu in the Tab Bar Menu. Then force-close and reopen the app to refresh settings.
Q: I don’t see my custom icon on the Home tab.
A: In the Tab Bar Menu, make sure you set an Item Icon for Home, clicked Select Icon, and saved the menu.
