The Tab Bar Visibility feature gives you control over where the main navigation bar appears in your Learndash App. By choosing when to show or hide it, you can reduce distractions, improve focus on content-heavy screens, and create a more polished user experience.
This guide walks you through how to access, configure, and test the Tab Bar visibility settings in your WordPress Dashboard.
Access the Tab Bar Visibility Settings #
- In WordPress, go to Learndash App > Menus.
- Locate the Tab Bar Visibility options below the Tab Bar Menu.
Show the Tab Bar on All Screens #
- Select Show on All Screens.
- Click Save Settings.
- Open the Learndash App and navigate to various screens.
- Confirm the Tab Bar remains visible across all pages.
Show the Tab Bar Only on Main Menu Screens #
- Go back to Learndash App > Menus.
- Select Show on Tab Bar Menu.
- Click Save Settings.
- Open the Learndash App and browse to a secondary screen).
- Confirm the Tab Bar is hidden on non-menu pages, and visible only on navigation tabs.
Troubleshooting and FAQs #
Q: Why is the tab bar still showing on all screens even after changing the setting?
A: Try force-closing and reopening the Learndash App to apply the latest configuration. Also clear any app cache.
Q: I don’t see the “Tab Bar Visibility” setting in WordPress. What should I do?
A: Make sure you have the latest version of the Learndash App plugin installed and activated.
Q: My changes aren’t being saved.
A: Confirm that you clicked Save Settings. Also, check for caching plugins that might be blocking the update.
Q: Can I hide only specific tabs instead of the entire bar?
A: Not at this time. The visibility setting applies to the entire tab bar. You can reorder or disable individual tabs under Menus > Tab Bar using visibility toggles.
