The Experiments feature in LearnDash lets you see a demonstration of functionality still in the prototype stage. You will be able to freely test Experiments and send the teams feedback to improve the features before they are fully released as part of the LearnDash LMS plugin. The Experiments feature will not require a separate upload or installation. It comes included with your LearnDash core installation.
How to use the Experiments feature #
To enable Experiments, navigate to LearnDash LMS > Settings > Experiments.You will see a table of available Experiments you can choose to activate.
Each experiment includes the following information:
- Toggle switch to activate or deactivate an Experiment
- Name of the Experiment
- Short description of the Experiment
- Give Feedback button
- After you’ve tested the new feature, click the Give Feedback button to provide feedback
Toggle on the feature you would like to test.
The feature you switch on will be available in the LearnDash admin menu (this is the case for Experiments only right now, and may not apply to future features). For example, if you enable Virtual Instructors, the relevant menu item will be added.
You can now go to LearnDash LMS > Virtual Instructors and test the feature.
