In your WordPress admin dashboard go to Plugins > Add New and then Click to upload the Gravity Forms for LearnDash plugin. You\u2019ll need to browse for the plugin .zip that you downloaded previously. Once you find it (it may be in your computer\u2019s Downloads folder), click Open, Install Now and finally, click the Activate Plugin button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-create-a-form\">Create a Form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To use the integration, you&#8217;ll need a form to assign courses to. Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/creating-a-form\/\">Gravity Forms documentation<\/a> on creating a form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can include as many form fields as you&#8217;d like, but the email field is required for user registration to work. You might also want to include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Username<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Password<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* All of these fields can be found under &#8220;Advanced Fields.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Name<\/strong> is not required, but in most cases, you&#8217;ll want to ask for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Username<\/strong> can be set to the email address, any other form field, or you can allow the user to choose one upon signup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Password<\/strong> can be automatically generated upon completion of the form, or you may choose to include this field in your form to allow the user to choose one upon signup.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"638\" height=\"746\" src=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gravity-forms-advanced-form-fields.jpg\" alt=\"Gravity Forms advanced fields\" class=\"wp-image-842\" srcset=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gravity-forms-advanced-form-fields.jpg 638w, https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gravity-forms-advanced-form-fields-342x400.jpg 342w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 638px) 100vw, 638px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Now that your form is ready, you&#8217;ll need to set up a user registration feed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-configure-user-registration\">Configure User Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before assigning LearnDash courses to your new users, you&#8217;ll need to create a user registration feed. However, for the simplest setup, we recommend the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-feed-settings\"><strong>Feed Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Name:<\/strong> Anything you&#8217;d like<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Action:<\/strong> Create user<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-user-settings\"><strong>User Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Username:<\/strong> Either use the &#8220;Email&#8221; form field, or provide a specific &#8220;Username&#8221; form field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>First Name:<\/strong> Name (First)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Last Name:<\/strong> Name (Last)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nickname:<\/strong> Name (First)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Display Name:<\/strong> {first name} {last name}<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Email Address:<\/strong> Use the &#8220;Email&#8221; form field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Password:<\/strong> Either provide a  Password  form field, or choose  Auto Generate Password <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Role:<\/strong> Subscriber<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re using custom roles, LearnDash groups, etc., you might want to assign a different role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-additional-options\"><strong>Additional Options<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These are beyond the scope of this article. Please reference <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/creating-feed-user-registration-add\/#additional-options\" rel=\"nofollow\">Gravity Forms documentation<\/a> for more info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-assign-learndash-courses\">Assign LearnDash Courses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The final step is to assign a course (or courses) that the user will be enrolled in once they submit the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Locate the final group of settings on the User Registration Feed titled LearnDash Settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the box(es) next to the course(s) you want the user to be enrolled in<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save\/Update your settings<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1112\" height=\"354\" src=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gravity-forms-user-registration-learndash-settings.jpg\" alt=\"Gravity Forms registration, LearnDash settings\" class=\"wp-image-848\" srcset=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gravity-forms-user-registration-learndash-settings.jpg 1112w, https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gravity-forms-user-registration-learndash-settings-400x127.jpg 400w, https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gravity-forms-user-registration-learndash-settings-768x244.jpg 768w, https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gravity-forms-user-registration-learndash-settings-800x255.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1112px) 100vw, 1112px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations! Now when someone successfully submits the form, a new user account is created for them, and they will be automatically enrolled in the associated course(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-require-payment\">Require Payment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to allowing free user registration, Gravity Forms also provides a way to charge for your courses during the signup process. To enable this, you will need an account with one of Gravity Form&#8217;s payment gateway add-ons. Most of the payment add-ons <strong>r<\/strong>equire the Elite license of Gravity Forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note negative has-theme-palette-9-color has-theme-palette-1-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-c85f90d5cc626cc1c205237016f8ed9d\"><strong>IMPORTANT<\/strong>: When using paid courses the Paid Form feature needs to be enabled by ticking the box in the LearnDash Settings option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gravity Forms payment options include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stripe (<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/category\/add-ons-gravity-forms\/stripe-add-on\/\">docs<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PayPal Payments Standard (<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/category\/add-ons-gravity-forms\/paypal-payments-standard-add-on\/\">docs<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PayPal Payments Pro (<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/category\/add-ons-gravity-forms\/paypal-payments-pro-add-on\/\">docs<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2Checkout (<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/category\/add-ons-gravity-forms\/2checkout-add-on\/\">docs<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Authorize.net (<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/category\/add-ons-gravity-forms\/authorize-net-add-on\/\">docs<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the &#8220;docs&#8221; links above to follow Gravity Form&#8217;s documentation on setting up each payment add-on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The LearnDash Gravity Forms integration allows you to register new users on your site and instantly provide them access to one (or more) of your courses.
