It will give you additional insight into your courses, including completion metrics and the latest learner activity.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can view data for a specific course, user, or group using filters. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-palette-3-color has-theme-palette-7-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-3cfeeebd5cfe455eec5bb8a142e2d72c\">&nbsp;<b>NOTE: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LearnDash uses a system-level setting to determine if \u201cGained Course Access\u201d activity, such as course or group enrollment, should be included in your reports and widgets. By default, this activity is not included in the reports. This setting is not currently user-configurable, but can be enabled by a developer.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dashboard-amp-widget-overview\"><b>Dashboard &amp; Widget Overview<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are five reporting widgets available under LearnDash LMS &gt; Reports.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By default, Reports will only be visible to Admins and Group Leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admins will see all data<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Group Leaders will only see data relating to the groups that they manage<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reports-overview-widget\"><b>Reports Overview Widget<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Displays the number of students, courses, pending assignments, and pending essays (to be approved by admin or group leader). Supported activities include course access gained as well as course, lesson, topic, and quiz completion. These reports will include only currently filtered data.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admins will be able to view all user activity, while Group Leaders can only view activity from users in their group(s).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of items shown per page depends on the pagination in the LearnDash Report Filters widget.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-report-filters-widget\"><b>Report Filters Widget<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Report Filters Widget lets you filter by course, user, or group. You can use any combination of these filters to narrow down your results.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some examples of filters include:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>User Filter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Select a user Select a progress status<br>Generate a list of enrolled courses for a specific user and progress statistics for those courses.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Course Filter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Select a course Select a progress status<br>Generate a list of users enrolled in the selected course and progress statistics for each user.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Group Filter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Select a group Select a progress status<br>Generate a list of users in the selected group and progress statistics for each user.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Date Filter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Select a group, course, or user Select progress status Filter by Date<\/span><br><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Filter the list of users further based on the selected group, course, or users. For instance, if a learner is listed 29 times, that is the total number of lessons they have in the classes that they are enrolled in.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-additional-options\"><b>Additional Options<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Email<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> lets you communicate with the users selected in the Filters section. Use the default setting to display the in-progress distribution in 20% increments; 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100. You can change these increments and other items using the filters discussed in the Developer section posted later in this document.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reporting-widget\"><b>Reporting Widget<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Reporting Widget displays the status of the users course progress against the filtered course in the progress bar and percentage number.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you hover over the progress bar, it will display the number of completed steps.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can use the Report Filters widget to filter reports by course, user, group, or completion status and the Reporting widget will display reports accordingly.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-palette-3-color has-theme-palette-7-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-2a2183184b48f50e6268b35239d8a4a5\"><b>NOTE: <\/b>Users who have gained course access through a Group will not be listed while their status is \u201cNot Started\u201d by default. This behavior can be changed with custom development. It allows for easy customization, making it ideal for those who want to create dynamic pages without any coding knowledge. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Shortcodes<\/strong> provide a more flexible solution for users who are comfortable with a bit of code. Shortcodes can be inserted into any page, post, or widget, giving you the freedom to place reports exactly where and how you want them. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are looking for complete control over layout and design, <strong>Templates<\/strong> enable users to customize the display and integrate reports directly into the site\u2019s theme. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each method provides a different level of customization, allowing you to present your LearnDash reports in a way that best suits your site\u2019s design and functionality.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-blocks\"><b>Blocks<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create custom report templates with LearnDash Reporting blocks by placing them anywhere within the main content of a page or post.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full
