With LearnDash coupons, you can create coupons for your users. You can even set expiration dates and usage limits for your coupons to make them work the way you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-palette-8-color has-theme-palette-2-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-395f4b10b0f74c1e9dfe213b75dd2a40\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: LearnDash Coupons work with the Registration Flow in LD 4.0. You must have the registration option enabled and the registration pages configured to use the coupons for new users. Check out our guide to the <a href=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/docs\/guides\/the-new-ld-3-6-registration-process\/\">new Registration Flow here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LearnDash coupons only apply to courses or groups set to Buy Now. They do not work for recurring courses or groups. If you want to learn more about <a href=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/docs\/core\/courses\/course-access\/\">Course Access settings, you can check the documentation here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Creating Your Coupons<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To create LearnDash Coupons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to <strong>LearnDash LMS > Coupons<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Add New<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a Coupon title<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the coupon slug \u2013 the coupon slug is the unique identifier of the coupon within WordPress. The coupon settings below will still take effect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>From here, you can personalize your coupons to suit your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Coupon Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These settings can help you manage how your coupons are used. We\u2019ll review the configuration options below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Coupon Code<\/strong> \u2013 the actual Coupon Code you can give to your students when they purchase the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Type<\/strong> \u2013 this is what the coupon will be when applied. You have two options:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Flat Rate<\/strong> \u2013 deducts a flat rate from the actual course price<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Percentage Off<\/strong> \u2013 deducts a percentage off of the actual course price.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amount<\/strong> \u2013 is the actual amount of the coupon, which can be a flat rate or a percentage off the course price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Number of Redemptions<\/strong> \u2013 the number of times the coupon can be redeemed. Enter 0 for unlimited redemptions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start Date<\/strong> \u2013 the date the coupon can be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End Date<\/strong> \u2013 indicates the expiry date of the coupon. After this date, the coupon cannot be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Apply to all Courses<\/strong> \u2013 indicates whether the coupon can be used across all courses. If this is turned off, you have to select the specific courses to which this coupon can be applied.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Apply to all Groups<\/strong> \u2013 indicates whether or not the coupon can be used and applied to all groups. If this is turned off, you have to select the specific groups this coupon can be applied to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;re done updating all the settings, click <strong>Publish <\/strong>to publish your coupon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The User Experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Logged-Out\/New User<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the course page of the course that you would like to take.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Take This Course<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next, you\u2019ll be redirected to a registration page where you\u2019ll be asked to register an account. Fill out the information as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the registration is successful, you\u2019ll be redirected to the purchase page where you can apply the coupon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the coupon is valid, the discount will be applied after clicking the <strong>Apply Coupon<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Take this Course <\/strong>to proceed to payment. Once the payment is made, you\u2019re successfully registered on the site and enrolled in the course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Logged-In\/Existing User<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to the course page of the course you would like to take.
