You can use this integration to sell courses on your LearnDash site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note has-theme-palette-7-background-color has-background\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: You need to sign up for a ThriveCart account before you can use this integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If youre looking for a free and\/or easier way to accept payments, consider our <a href=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/docs\/documentation\/settings\/paypal-settings\/\">built-in PayPal integration<\/a> or the free <a href=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/docs\/add-ons\/stripe\/\">Stripe add-on<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"who-should-use-the-samcart-integration\"><span id=\"who_should_use_the_samcart_integration\">Who Should Use the ThriveCart Integration?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-you-should-consider-using-the-thrivecart-integration-if\">You should consider using the ThriveCart integration if:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You want to use beautiful, pre-built checkout templates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have one, or only a few, courses to sell<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youre looking for advanced analytics and other conversion-focused eCommerce features<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-you-might-no-t-want-to-use-the-thrivecart-integration-if\">You might no<strong>t<\/strong> want to use the ThriveCart integration if:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You&#8217;re selling a lot of courses (or other products)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You want to closely manage the account creation &amp; login process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;re on a tight budget<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sign-up-for-a-samcart-account\"><span id=\"sign_up_for_a_samcart_account\">Sign Up for a ThriveCart Account<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/thrivecart.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ThriveCart.com <\/span><\/a>and follow the instructions for registering a new account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your account is set up, you can navigate to your ThriveCart dashboard to access your account settings, as well as the information youll need to set up the LearnDash integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"install-the-samcart-integration\"><span id=\"install_the_samcart_integration\">Install the ThriveCart Integration<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-option-1-add-ons-menu-requires-an-active-learndash-license\"><strong>Option 1: Add-ons Menu (requires an active LearnDash license)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In your WordPress admin area, go to LearnDash LMS > Add-Ons and locate the ThriveCart for LearnDash add-on. Click Now and once the installation is complete, click the Activate plugin button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-option-2-manual-upload\"><strong>Option 2: Manual Upload<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/account.learndash.com\/plugins\/\">Download the plugi<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/account.learndash.com\/plugins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">n<\/a> file (remember that you must be <a href=\"https:\/\/account.learndash.com\/\">logged i<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/account.learndash.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">n<\/a> to download). In your WordPress admin dashboard go to Plugins > Add New and then Click to upload the EDD plugin. You\u2019ll need to browse for the plugin .zip that you downloaded previously. Once you find it (it may be in your computer\u2019s Downloads folder), click Open, Install Now and finally, click the Activate Plugin button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-a-product-in-samcart\"><span id=\"create_a_product_in_samcart\">Create a Product in ThriveCart<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you can connect a LearnDash course, youll need to create a product in ThriveCart that you can connect it to.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1244\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Adding-a-product-to-ThriveCart.gif\" alt=\"Adding a product to ThriveCart from the Dashboard\" class=\"wp-image-4003\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/thrivecart.com\/\">ThriveCart.com<\/a> and click the Log In button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From your dashboard, click on Products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Create Product button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Digital on the product type selection pop-up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Create New Product<strong> <\/strong>button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in your product details, clicking Next on each tab until all the necessary details are complete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Save and Get URL to finish creating your product<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information on creating your first product, check out <a href=\"https:\/\/support.thrivecart.com\/help\/just-signed-up-watch-this-first\/\">ThriveCart&#8217;s getting started guide.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-a-product-in-wordpress\"><span id=\"create_a_product_in_wordpress\">Create a Product in WordPress<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you have a product in ThriveCart, youll need to create a matching product in WordPress, and link it to a LearnDash course.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1442\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Adding-a-ThriveCart-product-in-WordPress.gif\" alt=\"Adding a ThriveCart product in WordPress\" class=\"wp-image-4005\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to LearnDash LMS &gt; ThriveCart<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Add New ThriveCart Product<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"title-1\"><span id=\"title\">Title<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter a title for your product. In most cases, this should match the title for your LearnDash course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"slug-1\"><span id=\"slug\">Slug<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The slug is a unique identifier for this product. It should match your product title, but<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be all lowercase<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spaces should be replaced with hyphens<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If your product title is My Awesome Course, your slug should be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><code class=\" prettyprinted\"><span class=\"kwd\">my<\/span><span class=\"pun\">-<\/span><span class=\"pln\">awesome<\/span><span class=\"pun\">-<\/span><span class=\"pln\">course<\/span><\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"samcart-product-id\"><span id=\"samcart_product_id\">ThriveCart Product ID<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can locate your Product ID from the ThriveCart dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on a product to edit it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look in the URL bar at the top of your browser window<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The product ID is the number located after <code class=\" prettyprinted\"><span class=\"str\">\/products\/<\/span><\/code><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"372\" height=\"35\" src=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Thrivecart-product-id.png\" alt=\"ThriveCart Product ID\" class=\"wp-image-4006\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ThriveCart uses ascending product IDs. In general, if you have 1 product the product ID will be 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"associated-courses\"><span id=\"associated_courses\">Associated Courses<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the LearnDash courses that youd like to link to this product. Having the correct Secret Word added to your LearnDash website will ensure that both platforms, ThriveCart and your website, can communicate securely and payments are well validated. Just make sure that you also update the Secret Word on your LearnDash ThriveCart Addon settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"course-configuration\"><span id=\"course_configuration\">Course Configuration<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After youve configured your ThriveCart for LearnDash settings, the final thing you need to do is set up your course to accept payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the WordPress admin area, navigate to LearnDash LMS &gt; Courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the course youd like to sell<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Settings at the top<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down to Course Access Settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the Access Mode to Closed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your ThriveCart product URL in the Button URL field<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1595\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/learndash.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Setting-up-course-settings-on-LearnDash-for-ThriveCart.gif\" alt=\"Setting up course settings in LearnDash for ThriveCart\" class=\"wp-image-4009\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To locate your ThriveCart product URL, navigate to your Products page from your ThriveCart Dashboard, then, click the &#8220;Get URL&#8221; button next to the product that you created.
