Maintaining essential build settings like your app\u2019s connection, icon display name, and minimum allowed version ensures users have a consistent and secure app experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide shows you how to connect your site, set the App Icon Name, and configure Minimum Build Versions to prompt outdated users to upgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connecting Your App<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Learndash App > Configure > Connect<\/strong>.

  2. Enter your App ID<\/strong> and App Key<\/strong>, then follow the on-screen prompts to connect your app.

    Configuring Your General Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    App Icon Name<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to Learndash App > Configure > General<\/strong>.

    2. Under App Icon Name<\/strong>, enter the text you want displayed below the home screen icon and in push notifications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Still in Learndash App > Configure > General<\/strong>, scroll to Minimum iOS Build Version<\/strong> and Minimum Android Build Version<\/strong>.

          1. Select the lowest version you want to support.

          2. Click Save Settings<\/strong>.

            Note:<\/strong> Members using older versions will be prompted to update before continuing. Only versions already published to the App Store or Play Store will appear in the dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Open the Learndash App on your mobile device.

              Q: Why doesn\u2019t the new App Icon Name show up?<\/strong>

              Q: Members on old builds aren\u2019t being prompted to update.<\/strong>
              <\/strong> A:<\/strong> Ensure the selected Minimum Build Version<\/strong> is already live. Then ask users to force-close and reopen the app to trigger the prompt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Q: I don\u2019t see my latest build in the dropdown.<\/strong>
              <\/strong> A:<\/strong> Only published builds are shown. Go to Learndash App > Builds<\/strong> and confirm that your target build is published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Q: Can I enforce version updates separately for iOS and Android?<\/strong>
              <\/strong> A:<\/strong> Yes. The Minimum Build Version<\/strong> setting allows platform-specific enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Q: Do I need to publish a new build for every General setting change?<\/strong>
