Completing your Agreements, Tax, and Banking setup in App Store Connect is essential if you plan to sell paid apps or in-app purchases, and to receive proceeds from Apple.
This guide explains how to access the Agreements, Tax & Banking section and complete all required tabs Agreements, Tax, Banking, and Contacts so you can start distributing and monetizing your iOS app.
Accessing Agreements, Tax & Banking #
- Log in to App Store Connect with your Apple Developer account.
- In the left-hand sidebar, click Agreements, Tax, and Banking.
- On the next screen, complete all required details in each tab:
- Agreements – Review and accept the latest Apple agreements.
- Tax – Complete tax forms as required for your country or region.
- Banking – Enter your bank account information for receiving payments.
- Contacts – Add your legal, finance, and technical contacts.
- Agreements – Review and accept the latest Apple agreements.
Troubleshooting and FAQs #
Q: I don’t see any agreements listed.
A: Ensure your Apple Developer Program membership is active and that you’re signed in as the Account Holder or an Admin on the team.
Q: My tax forms keep getting rejected.
A: Confirm your legal name, address, and tax ID exactly match your government tax records.
Q: Bank account validation failed.
A: Verify your account number, routing/IBAN, and confirm your bank supports the payout currency and region.
Q: Contact updates aren’t saving.
A: Fill out all required fields. If issues persist, log out and back in, or try another browser.
Q: Can I skip this setup and still sell paid apps?
A: No. Apple requires signed agreements, completed tax details, and valid banking information before you can sell paid apps or in-app purchases.
